4.8m Timber Decking Kit, 145mm x 28mm – Pack of 10

Description

Timber Decking Kit (boards only): If you’re looking for a classic, reliable decking option, our 145mm x 28mm x 4.8m timber decking boards are an excellent choice. Manufactured from softwood spruce—one of the most widely used timbers for decking—they provide a traditional appearance and dependable performance.

The extended 4.8m length helps reduce the number of joins across your deck, creating a cleaner, more seamless finish while keeping installation cost‑effective.

Cladco timber decking boards are built for durability and long‑term outdoor protection. All timber is responsibly sourced, giving you confidence and peace of mind with every order.

Board Specifications:

• Length: 4.8m
• Width: 145mm
• Thickness: 28mm
• Weight (Approx.): 13.5kg

Each board is green pressure‑treated to enhance strength and make ongoing maintenance easier throughout the year. They are also kiln‑dried to improve stability and resistance to moisture.

The softwood composition allows screws and fixings to penetrate easily, ensuring a faster, more secure installation over a suitable substructure. Softwood spruce is simple to plane, drill, and saw, helping reduce installation time and effort.

For best results, we recommend installing the boards on a solid structural base using timber joists and posts. Trims and fixings are available to help you achieve a professional finish.

To prevent weed growth beneath your decking, we also advise laying a weed mat under the supporting structure so vegetation cannot grow through the gaps between boards.
