We are excitied for Spring/Summer 2026 are you? What cabin/summerhouse will you choose? Here are our top 5 tips for starting to explore what you are looking for.
- First of all you might want to think about what you wish to use your cabin for, as this may influence things such as number of windows, where the doors are and the overall size you need. Consider drawing out your ideal design on a piece of paper for reference later.
- Then its very important to know what space you have available in your garden, so grab your tape measure and mark this out, be sure to allow some room between your boundary and the cabin so that you can perform any maintenance tasks later. NB: cabins within 2m of the boundary must be under 2.5m high, which most of ours are.
- Which roof style do you prefer? Modern Pent style roof or more traditional Apex roof? We will cover this in more detail a future blog in this series, so look out for that!
