ProBASE is the only grid system designed specifically to support timber buildings. ProBASE comes with load spreading feet on the underside to avoid settlement. ProBASE is a gravel retention system which relies on the gravel to carry the loads and the grid simply holds the gravel in place. Tested empty at 51 tonnes per grid of vertical load, manufactured in the UK to ISO 9001 Manufactured from high grade recycled plastic from a reputable supplier. The plastic contains UV protection and comes with a 10 year warranty. It’s the only grid system which actually measures 500mm x 500mm x 40mm, the plastic has very low expansion and contraction at less than 1%. Most others are 3% resulting in under sizing of bases and grids deforming. ProBASE also comes with commercial grade membrane cut to size.
