One the defining features of the Sussex Cabins are the modern bi-fiolds doors and the Pent Roof design. This design gives the buildings a modern feel which is very popular with customer who may want to get away from the the traditional summerhouse type style. A pent roof is a roof with a single sloping side, where the front of the building is typically the highest point, dont worry though all of our buildings are under the required 2.5m max height. The bi-folds doors enable you to really feel part of the garden and surroundings.
We recommend covering this style of roof with EPDM Rubber Roofing, which is suitable for every type of flat roof, EPDM rubber has a “fit and forget it” quality. One of the reasons we love EPDM rubber is that, unlike traditional felt systems, it does not support the growth of moss. This makes EPDM a great option for keeping your rubber roof looking newer for longer with zero maintenance. EPDM membranes are permanently flexible and have a life expectancy of over 50 years.
Both sizes of the Sussex have two large full length double doors on the long side and will have either one or two windows on either side of these, and a window to one side depending on the model.
These windows are full length tilt & turn single sized windows which allow plenty of light to access the interior enabling you to enjoy the views of your garden and surroundings while relaxing inside.
The two sizes mean these can be converted to suit various purposes;
