Our Warranty Promise
All of our timber buildings are supplied with a 2-year structural warranty, giving you peace of mind that your building is manufactured to a high standard and free from hidden defects.
This warranty covers faults in materials or workmanship that make the building unsuitable for its intended use.
What Is Covered?
We guarantee that your building:
- Is made in line with the agreed specification.
- Is free from hidden (latent) manufacturing defects.
- Is suitable for normal residential or commercial use.
If a fault appears within 2 years from the delivery date, and it is not caused by misuse or incorrect installation, we will:
- Repair the defect, or
- Replace the defective part or building, or
- Reimburse reasonable repair costs, or
- Agree a partial refund.
The solution offered will depend on the nature of the issue.
What You Must Do
To keep your warranty valid, you must:
- Inspect your building on delivery.
- Report any visible damage within 24 hours.
- Report hidden defects within 14 days of discovery.
- Provide photos and written details of the issue.
- Allow reasonable access for inspection or repair.
- Follow our storage, installation and maintenance guidelines.
- Ensure the building is fully paid for.
What Is Not Covered?
The warranty does not cover:
- Normal timber movement, including small cracks or knots.
- Natural ageing or weathering of timber.
- Damage caused by:
- Incorrect installation
- Poor foundations
- Lack of maintenance
- Modifications by third parties
- Extreme weather or flooding
- Electrical, plumbing or insulation unless supplied by us.
Serious Defects
If a defect is so severe that the cost of repair exceeds 150% of the building value, and we cannot reasonably fix or replace it, you may be entitled to a full refund.
Important Conditions
- Warranty is only valid if the building is paid in full.
- We must be given the opportunity to inspect and repair before third-party work is carried out.
- Failure to cooperate may invalidate the warranty.
