The Albany 2.1m x 1.5m Pytchley Offset Apex Shed offers a clever twist on the traditional garden shed. Featuring an attractive offset apex roof with a generous 300mm front overhang, it provides additional weather protection above the entrance while creating a distinctive appearance that sets it apart from a standard apex design.
Manufactured in the UK using high-quality 12mm tongue and groove shiplap cladding throughout, including the floor and roof, the Pytchley is built to provide reliable, long-lasting storage for everything from gardening equipment and power tools to bicycles and seasonal furniture. The robust 45mm x 34mm timber framing creates a rigid structure that is designed to stand up to everyday use and the changing British weather.
One of the standout features of the Pytchley is its practical layout. The single fully framed and braced door is fitted with three heavy-duty hinges and a lock-and-key system for added security, while the large glazed windows allow plenty of natural daylight into the building. The standard configuration places the door on the left-hand side with the windows on the right, although alternative layouts and a windowless version are available to suit your garden and your storage requirements.
The attractive roof overhang not only gives the building extra character but also helps shelter the doorway during wet weather, making it more comfortable to access your tools and equipment throughout the year. Optional upgrades such as toughened safety glass, Perspex glazing and a durable Shedsheet rubber roof covering allow you to tailor the building to your individual needs.

The sheds unless requested are sprayed with a "Travel Coat" of preservative. This protection is designed to give customers time to fully treat their shed with a suitable timber treatment. We recommend that you treat your shed within 6 months with a high quality treatment. We recommend and supply Sadolin through our shop. In some areas we are also able to quote for the full painting service of your shed. Please ask our team.

You can choose from different roof configurations, including apex and pent styles, depending on your preference and garden layout. Whilst Standard Shed Roof Felt comes as standard you can upgrade to shingle tiles, cedar shingles or Tapco Slate effect tiles on Apex models and EPDM Rubber for Pent Roof Models. EPDM has a very long life so will not need to be replaced. Standard Shed felt usually lasts between 5-10 years before it needs to be replaced.

If you are using a third-party fitter, then take care to ensure they have the correct experience. As our fitters are all directly employed by Cabins Unlimited, we are best placed to install your building. Check if your shed supplier has their own team as many outsource with negative consequences should something go wrong. Not something you will experience with Cabins Unlimited!
A solid and perfectly level base is essential for any garden shed. We recommend our Eco-Base Plastic Grid System called Probase owing to it allowing water to drain away from the base of the building but other alternatives including concrete pads, paving slabs, or a timber frame foundation to ensure stability and longevity.
