Our Reading Room are available in two sizes – Small and Large, with either a modern or traditional aesthetic. If you’d like the same cosy feeling in a space that’s easier to access, our Reading Rooms are Shepherd’s Huts but without the wheels!
This model comes with an optional inside insulation and cladding kit and can be selected to purchase with the Shepherds Hut. All of our Shepherds huts come untreated and need to be treated after installation inside an out. We recommend Sadolin Superdec or Sadolin Waster Based Stain for the outside and for the inside either a solid Superdec Paint or Polyurethane all available to purchase alongside the building.

Yes, insulation is available for floors and roofs as standard upgrades. Insulating the roof and floor means that your building will be useable all year round.
We can also provide thicker insulation or wall insulation if required which will further enhance the warmth of the summerhouse or cabin.
Yes. Shepherd’s Huts can be connected to mains electricity and, where required, plumbing. Many customers install lighting, heating and sockets, and some choose to add full bathroom or kitchen facilities.
Yes. Our Shepherd’s Huts are built on a timber frame and can be repositioned if required, although specialist equipment will be needed to lift the hut. The wheels on our Shepherd's Huts are decorative, and the huts are not designed to be rolled into a new position.

Yes. The hut is constructed using robust timber and fitted with quality doors and windows. Additional security features can be specified if required.
